Michael S. Ramage, J.D., CG®, follows the Board for Certification of Genealogists, Genealogy Standards, Second Edition Revised (Nashville, TN: Ancestry, 2019, 2021). This means that I take care in planning your research, conducting reasonably exhaustive research, applying accurate source citations, analyzing the results of your research, and writing a soundly reasoned, coherent conclusion based upon the strongest available evidence. Because of this, I often request authorization for a minimum of twenty hours of work (refundable if not used) with a fifty percent retainer. I charge $75.00 (US) per hour plus expenses. Free initial consultation.My contract is a very short and simple document that protects both of us so that we know what to expect. I will email you the proposed contract after I estimate the time to complete your project.
